With over 25 years of hands-on residential construction experience, I bring real-world knowledge to every home inspection—not just a checklist.
My Construction Background
Before becoming a licensed home inspector, I owned and operated two residential remodeling businesses. My background includes preparing
my own architectural drawings and working closely with homeowners, subcontractors and local building departments to ensure our projects met residential building codes.
My work in the trades includes over 20 years of hands-on experience in basement finishing, kitchen renovation, residential framing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drywall installation and finishing, trim carpentry, flooring, interior painting, and bathroom remodeling including over 10 years of professional tile installation.
Having worked through both the design phase and the construction process, I evaluate homes with a deeper level of insight — identifying structural & safety concerns, installation deficiencies, and workmanship issues that other home inspectors may miss.
Today, my background guides every inspection I perform. I know where problems typically hide, how systems interact, and which issues matter most—because I’ve built, repaired, and inspected them firsthand.
